Our team go over projects remotely, assess the specific project requirements and create one or more detailed estimates at no charge, of course. However due to limited time and the high cost of commute of an expert to different sites, our company policy is that, in order to provide estimates faster, lower our costs which will translate in a lower price for you, the complete assessment of the area which will include checking the bases for installation, measure the whole area (precise lengths of the railings plus angles on stairs and possible slopes on flat surfaces), is subject to a charge,
The assessment charge is part of all of our project and it is described (or it will) on your estimate(s). If you decide to have this charge before a formal commitment (signed contract and deposit paid), we'll make sure this assessment fee will be applied to your invoice in the future so you won't need to pay that fee again later.
We also offer our showroom where our different hardware and railing system options are on display. You are welcome to come over for a visit to see all of them up close and talk to our experts.
I hope you find this explanation understandable and our policy reasonable.
